David Celia is an innovative singer/songwriter and astonishing guitar player, known for his spontaneously driven live performances. His songs have an open alt-folk style that’s also been described as “Beatlesque”. He’s joined by his somewhat new Canadian backing band including Cliff Rutherford (drums) and 2 members of Zuffalo - Mikey Vukovich and Kimberly Manning - Bass/Keys/Vocal Harmonies.

Miniseries showcases the combined talents of ‘00s indie heroes Doug Morch and Aidan Banks of Longview, Angela Gannon of The Magic Numbers, Dermot Watson of Brighton psychonauts The Dials and drummer Danny Abbasi. Formed around the musical nexus that is The Betsey Trotwood pub in Farringdon in 2022, they have been honing a live set full of motorik, psychedelic pop.

In the past year the band has elevated it's sound and go from Americana-tinged, Harvest-style folk to full-on motorik jams. Reference points include Crosby, Stills and Nash, Stereolab, Spiritualized, Joan as Policewoman, Cass McCombs and Midlake.
